When I heard that the Olympic Committee had declared that the 2008 Olympic Games would be held in Beijing. I was really excited. Actually, all the Chinese cheered and laughed at that glorious moment.

“One world one dream” is the theme of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. We are in one world, and we have one dream. We have tried our best to do everything and so now; our dream isnt only a dream. I hope that the Olympic Games in Beijing can be successful!

The mascot of our Olympic game is Fuwa. They bless the Olympic Games, and make the Olympic spirit proud and strong. They represent the five greatest states in the world.

There will be about 550 athletes competing in the Beijing Olympic Games. It is an amazing number and we must prepare for the Beijing Olympic Games. Our government is spending a lot of money to improve the environment and has built modern stadiums, such as the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, and so on. All of the citizens are learning English and will try their best to show a warm welcome to all of the foreigners. Now we must not only hold a successful Olympics, but also a green, high-tech and humanistic Olympics.

I think that the Olympic Games in Beijing will be one of the most successful Olympic Games in history. I hope that our Olympic Games achieve perfection.
