As a child, Edison was slapped by a station keeper, which led to his later deafness. When asked about it, he replied, "my deafness prevents me from having boring conversations, so I can concentrate more on my work." He faced his life and work with such a happy mood, and eventually became the king of invention. I really like Edisons attitude towards some things. I remember that Bill Gates did not fear or shrink back when he recited tens of thousands of words. He completed the challenge word by word and said "I tried my best", which was touching and admirable. These two stories tell us why successful people succeed.
